A24 has released the trailer for Minari, one of the most acclaimed movies at Sundance 2020. The tender and sweeping film has won the Grand Jury Prize and the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival. The film is written and directed by Lee Isaac Chung, starring Steven Yeun, Yeri Han, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho, and Yuh-Jung Youn.
Check the trailer below:
The synopsis of the film: Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.

Minari was one of the best movies at Sundance 2020 and will have lots of buzz after its wide release. A24 is planning to submit Minari for the Oscar’s FYC for this year. I really hope we will get the chance to watch it soon.
